Maratha reservation agitation: Security increased at Maharashtra deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis's residence in Nagpur

Police have heightened security at the residence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister in Nagpur due to the ongoing Maratha reservation demand. The Nagpur Commissioner of Police ordered increased security measures considering the agitation. In response to the situation, state-run bus services have been suspended in five Marathwada districts. Curfew and Internet shutdowns were imposed in parts of Beed where protesters targeted political leaders' houses. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has urged people to refrain from violence and political parties to avoid activities escalating the situation.
